Cross Lake Vacation Home

This bright and inviting Cross Lake area second home was designed with entertaining in mind. The homeowners wanted a peaceful, relaxing retreat with a beautiful interior that matches the idealistic lake shore setting this property offers. Design elements that were focused on were comfort, function, and durability. The open floor plan encourages spending time together while the neutral color palette and warm textures help not to distract from the beautiful views surrounding this lake retreat.

Main Living Area

The main living area boasts an open floor plan, thoughtfully crafted to foster a sense of togetherness and facilitate the gathering of large groups. The premium luxury vinyl plank flooring offers exceptional durability and effortless cleanability, especially for gatherings. The beautiful frosted glass sidelights flank the space, allowing an abundance of natural light to stream in while preserving the much-desired privacy.  We also chose custom alder doors and woodwork to add a touch of sophistication and charm.

We also added a reclaimed wood wall to showcase the owner’s artisan paddles, Simon Pierce hand-blown glass on a custom chandelier, and a custom steel and stone gas fireplace.

Kitchen

This kitchen showcases custom-built and stained on-site alder Cabinetry, a hand-made diamond-shaped mosaic tile backsplash by Mercury Mosaics of Minnesota, and beautiful quartz countertops from Cambria for ease of maintenance and durability. A focal point is the stunning custom-made steel range hood, adding industrial chic to the sophisticated design.

Sunroom and Beverage Bar

The sunroom features beautiful lake views and incorporates a custom Italian murphy bed, providing additional space for guests. With a soft color palette and a cozy wool rug, this room becomes a favored spot for relaxation and leisure.

Laundry and Powder Room

In the laundry and powder room, we used custom-built and stained cabinetry to exude craftsmanship, providing both functionality and a touch of elegance to this room. Durable ceramic tiles in soothing creams, greys, and black create a unifying thread, connecting the laundry and powder room in a cohesive design that stands the test of time. The play of white upper cabinetry and quartz countertops effortlessly harmonizes with the darker tones of the stained wood and tiles, adding a sense of balance and refinement.

Primary Bedroom and Bathroom

The Private Primary Suite offers a tranquil retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation with beautiful views of the lake. The soothing color palette creates a serene ambiance, enhancing the sense of calm and comfort within the space. Designed with functionality in mind, the suite boasts a separate walk-in shower and a luxurious soaking tub, providing options for a personalized bathing experience. The suite also features his and her custom alder vanities, offering ample storage and personal space for each occupant. The choice of durable ceramic tile and quartz countertops ensures both practicality and elegance, promising a lasting appeal that complements the suite’s overall aesthetic.

En Suite Guest Bathrooms

With a unique design and color palette, each en suite bathroom invites an experience of a distinct and personalized atmosphere. Thoughtfully crafted custom-built cabinetry and ample storage space cater to the diverse needs of guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. Practicality meets elegance with quartz countertops, offering easy maintenance and lasting durability for long-lasting beauty. Completing the ensemble, easy-to-care-for ceramic tile simplifies cleaning and upkeep, allowing guests to focus on relaxation and making memories.

Mudroom

The captivating reclaimed wood accent wall in the mudroom adds a touch of natural beauty, infusing warmth into the atmosphere. Durable ceramic floor tile graces the space, ensuring longevity and easy maintenance. We added abundant storage space catering to their organizational needs and allowing for a clutter-free environment. The top of the bench features quartz, offering both durability and a touch of elegance. Open hooks for coats provide a convenient and accessible solution for hanging outerwear.
